When I think about the Dark Knight, perfection comes to mind. Christopher Nolan's newest film is by far the BEST comic book and superhero film adaptation, and quite possibly one of the best films of all time. Here's why? Everything about this film is superb. Firstly, the acting is outstanding. Christian Bale returns with a solid performance, and Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart provide unforgettable roles. The screenplay of this film is also a masterpiece, as it seamlessly combines morality, action, suspense, and bits of humor into one action-packed film.
The editing, special effects, cinematography, music score, and overall look of this film is also amazing, and it will never let go during its 2 and 1/2 hour ride.
The only major drawback is that some of the plot may be confusing, especially to the younger audience, but this does not detract from an otherwise perfect film.
In conclusion, you MUST go see this film. I also recommend that you see the film 'Batman Begins' before you see this one, but its not necessary. I would not be surprised if this film is nominated for many Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor (Ledger) Best Director/Best Picture/Best Original Screenplay (Nolan. To sum it all up, GO SEE THIS FILM.

But he was written in quite a good way; I liked that he was kind of "overall bad" with no scruples, no morale and incorruptible in his ways.
The plot was good, complex enough to be good I mean, for a action movie that is. A bit like the Spiderman franchise (with Tobey Maguire. Overall a bit lengthy maybe.
But be advised: I'm a fan of Hollywood-style action movies with big budgets (e.g. Avengers, Avatar) so I may be a little biased with my rating.
